Progressive House of Worship, Inc.   

is “An Outreach Ministry Without Walls” and Interfaith (non‑denominational) haven for people of all ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds who are seeking a return to spiritual basics. Our ministry is providing services and programs for individuals who desire to strengthen their relationship with God and their pursuit of empowering themselves, their families, and their community.

Founded in 1997 Progressive House of Worship, Inc. has been lending a helping hand to urban areas in the United States and in particular Newark, New Jersey. It is now also, working toward the goal of lending help throughout the World with the help of the Internet. We have worked together with other ministries to strive to obtain the same goals.                                                                               

-To provide spiritual, motivational, and emotional support services to needy individuals with other community organizations in-house or on a referral basis.

‑To provide a comprehensive and coordinated array of educational, job-training, placement, social and medical services for at-risk youths, adults, senior citizens, and emotionally and physically challenged individuals.

‑To provide varied cultural and recreational activities to engage the Spirit, Mind, and Body to many individuals, especially senior citizens.

The Concept of Progressive House of Worship, Inc. is based on establishing a relationship with other multi‑cultural congregation of people who want to share in the fellowship of God. People once again want to focus on children, their families, and developing ways to spend quality time. The emphasis on leading one’s life according to a basic code of moral values is seeking to return.

The Progressive House of Worship has provided coordinated educational, social and financial support for individuals who want to be productive in our ever-changing society. It will be a leading location for spiritual, and educational development to everyone regardless of their socio-economic status. Services offered will include: Computer literacy, “Save the Children’s Today through Computer literacy.”

In addition to technological unrest, we see economic unrest. Many people are pushed out of the cocoon of corporate culture through downsizing. As a consequence, there is a high unemployment rate in some urban-areas, and a lack of marketable job skills, which impede the efforts of individuals to support their families. Yet, many unemployed individuals have turned this misfortune into an opportunity to establish their own businesses. “Hope and Not Dope” is an initiative of what Progressive House of Worship, Inc. is all about.
